Kim Kardashian and Kanye West: Marrying in Italy Instead of France?

When it comes to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s quickly approaching nuptials, is Paris something old and Florence something new?

Rumors are flying that the famous lovebirds won’t be tying the knot May 24 in France after all.

Instead, according to Entertainment Tonight, it’ll start with a dinner there, then guests will be flown on private planes to an undisclosed location in Florence, Italy, for the actual ceremony.

Sources tell PEOPLE the Kardashian family will indeed arrive in Paris on Sunday. According to an invitation image circling earlier this week, guests are invited to a sunset hour dinner concluding at an undisclosed Parisian location.

And most of those lucky wedding attendees are being kept in the dark about the specific plans. “It’s all very top secret,” says a Kardashian insider. “No one knows exactly what’s going on – just that whatever is happening, it’s sure to be spectacular!”

The couple’s rumored wedding venue, the spectacular 17th century-style château outside of Paris which Kim visited in April may not serve as the site of the couple’s wedding venue. Still some sources insist the event will be a wholly French affair.

If their wedding does take place in Florence, there will be no shortage of breathtaking locations. The Italian city boasts stunning venues in small medieval towns along its outskirts, where some of Italy’s most beautiful villas and estates can be found.
