Kenny Rogers on Removing Skin Cancer: ‘You Should See the Other Guy!’

Kenny Rogers is the latest star to promote skin cancer awareness on Instagram.

The country legend, 75, posted a photo of his face after getting cancer cells removed – and he’s still grinning from ear to ear.

“… but you should see the other guy!” he joked in the snapshot’s caption. “Had a bit of skin cancer removed today – I recommend everyone go get checked, especially since May is National Skin Cancer Detection & Prevention Month. Don’t worry though, I’m gonna look great in Knoxville this weekend!”

Last week, Hugh Jackman also revealed via social media that he’d been treated for skin cancer. The X-Men actor shared an Instagram of his bandaged nose and encouraged fans to “PLEASE! PLEASE! WEAR SUNSCREEN!”

“I figure for some people reading it, if Wolverine says it, it might be different than if your parent or wife or husband says it,” he said later on the X-Men red carpet.
