Justin Bieber Gets Slapped Around on ‘Between Two Ferns’

“When you’re in the recording studio, do you ever think to yourself ‘Hey what if I don’t make something shitty?’ Does that pop into your mind in the process?”

That’s just a taste of the verbal (and physical?) lashing that Justin Bieber receives from Zach Galifianakis in the comedian’s latest edition of “Between Two Ferns,” his popular web talk-show for FunnyOrDie.

Throughout the five-minute chat, Galifianakis grills the “young punk” about his various scandals including pot-smoking, peeing in a mop bucket and publicly imagining Anne Frank as a potential “Belieber.”

“It’s really exciting to talk to you, especially right in the middle of your public meltdown,” Galifianakis deadpanned to an equally wry Bieber, who mugs and stays relatively quiet in the interview, save for a few snarky moments.

“Is it fun to be cocky?” the “Hangover” star asks Bieber, who also revealed he’s mostly been hanging out with Joy Behar these days.

But all that swagger proved too much for Galifianakis, who in typical “B2F” fashion, breaks down and takes it all out on Bieber… with his belt.

“Between Two Ferns” launched in early 2008 on FunnyOrDie.com with “Arrested Development” star Michael Cera. In 17 episodes, the series — interviews conducted between a pair of ferns — has featured surreal interviews with Jon Hamm, Sean Penn, Will Ferrell and James Franco.
