Actor Isaiah Washington is returning to Grey’s Anatomy

Isaiah Washington will return to Grey’s Anatomy this spring for one episode after he was previously fired from the show in 2007 after his comments about former Grey’s costar T.R. Knight’s sexuality.

Washington, played Dr. Preston Burke for three seasons.
