Victoria Beckham, Tailor? The Star Personally Alters Eva Longoria’s Gown

It pays to be best friends with a designer. Just ask Eva Longoria, who had her dress altered for the Global Gift Gala in London Tuesday by Victoria Beckham herself!

Posh ditched her ever-present high heels and got down on her hands and knees to make last-minute tweaks to the long black sheer-paneled design from her collection. Hours later Longoria rocked it on the red carpet (and you agree — she currently has an 87 percent “Love It” rating from PEOPLE readers).

Beckham totally transformed the dress for Longoria, switching it up from the midi that originally hit the catwalk at her Spring 2013 show last year into an elegant full-length stunner.

The designer also supported her friend on the red carpet, wearing yet another floor-skimming black look from her own archives, consisting of a silk plunging blouse and matching skirt (which is also a hit with readers!).
