Kristin Chenoweth Doing ‘Well’ After Health Scare

Kristin Chenoweth is asking for prayers as she battles an unknown health problem, though she has also reassured fans that she “will be ok.”

“Back in la. Unable to move. Numbness and tingling in arm. Going to cedars dr tomorrow. Ah anyone who prays please do!” the actress, 46, wrote Monday on Twitter.

She later added: “Waiting on MRI results. No matter what I will be ok. Thanks everything for praying and sending good vibes. #thinkingpositive”

It’s been two years since the Tony and Emmy winner was seriously injured by a falling light fixture on the set of CBS’s The Good Wife. That accident led her to leave the show, and she admitted to still being “issue-ridden” several months later.

Fans, however, can rest easy: A source tells PEOPLE that “all is well” with Chenoweth’s health. “It was just a flare-up from her previous injury on The Good Wife,” says the source, adding, “But it’s nothing serious.”

Chenoweth confirmed that Tuesday morning when she gave anxious fans an update on Twitter.

“Thanks for all the good vibes everyone. Stupid ole neck flares up again. Thanks for the ‘ neck ‘ support ! :)” she wrote.

In her 30s, Chenoweth was also diagnosed with asthma and Ménière’s disease, a disorder of the inner ear that can cause vertigo.
