Justin Bieber is in high spirits as he leaves court

Justin Bieber wa s in high spirits as he left Santa Monica courthouse on Friday following his conviction for the egging of a neighbour’s home in January.

Sporting a loose fitting white T-shirt and grey joggers, the Canadian singer looked at ease as he made his way onto the street after spending more than an hour inside discussing the terms of his sentence.

Bieber, 20, appeared untroubled while making his way towards a waiting car with his baseball cap worn at a raffish angle and his sleeve tattoos on full display.

According to TMZ he and his lawyer Shawn Holley arrived at the Probation Dept. at Santa Monica Courthouse and spent an hour there to go over the requirements of his two years probation.

As part of his punishment, the Beauty And A Beat star must not break any laws and needs to complete anger management classes and five days of community service on time.

Earlier this month Bieber accepted a plea deal after he pleaded no contest to misdeameaner vandalism over the incident which took place in January.

It included 12 anger management classes at a minimum of one per week and paying $80,000 in damages to his former neighbour, whose Calabasas home the pop star allegedly threw eggs at.

At the time of his sentencing, reps for Bieber released a statement to Mail Online saying: ‘Justin is glad to get this matter resolved and behind him. He will continue to move forward focusing on his career and his music.’

While Sheriff’s detectives initially estimated the damage to the home at up to $20,000, the presiding judge said ‘The house is a dream house’, explaining why he was fining Bieber in excess of $80K according to TMZ.

Additionally, the young crooner was asked to stay at least 100 yards away from his former neighbour and his family.

Prosecutors spent months considering whether to file charges. The singer’s Calabasas mansion was searched on Jan. 14 and detectives later filed a search warrant to obtain images from Bieber’s Instagram account to match them up to surveillance footage taken from his home.

A detective wrote that a person matching Bieber’s description was seen high-fiving his friends after running toward a neighbor’s home, but footage of the egg attack was not captured.

Bieber was not arrested during the search of his home, but his friend and personal manager Xavier Domonique Smith, who goes by the name Lil Za, was charged with felony drug possession. He was later sentenced to probation and a drug treatment program.

Bieber faces two other cases in Florida and Toronto. A Miami court has set a trial date this month for his DUI case, which also includes charges that he resisted arrest without violence and was driving with an expired license.
