Beaming and beautiful in a revealing top and dark skinnies, Jenny McCarthy is enjoying the best summer ever.
She will launch a SiriusXM show “Dirty, Sexy, Funny with Jenny McCarthy” on Wednesday and marry former New Kids on the Block singer and film producer Donnie Wahlberg, 44, soon.
“I will marry Donnie in the next few weeks,” McCarthy, 41, told PEOPLE Saturday, before hosting her touring comedy review Dirty Sexy Funny at Miami’s Magic City Casino.
“He is the most amazing man, and we have become a great team. Although I haven’t told my dad yet, my son, Evan, will walk me down the aisle before he goes back to school in the fall.”
Wahlberg will also be one of the Sirius show’s special guest stars, the network announced Monday.
The best-selling author, activist, actress and former Playboy model, who recently announced she is leaving The View, said she took a year off from men to find herself before dating Wahlberg, a man she had admired from afar.
“I knew if I closed my mind to men for too long I might be missing someone who was really right for me,” McCarthy says. “And then Donnie came along. I am so grateful!”
After the wedding, McCarthy will begin her weekly, one-hour radio show, which she says will complement her current comic romp, a project she began three years ago after touring the country to find the funniest female comediennes.
“I love comedy and want to devote my career to it, but I am not a stand-up,” she says. “My passion is to empower female comics. I want to see them succeed.”
Dirty Sexy Funny is an outrageous and humorous look at the lives of contemporary women, performed by her five-member female cast. For her role, McCarthy introduces the comics as the show’s master of ceremonies, then adds a few of her own risqué video vignettes between acts.
“We are expanding this show from weekend performances in the Eastern states to more dates throughout the Midwest and soon we will shoot a pilot,” McCarthy says. “I am so happy to be able to do what I love and marry a man who lets me be me.”
