Depp and Heard Enjoy a Date Night at an L.A. Gala

Having first shared the screen in 2011’s The Rum Diary,Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are still sharing time together.

On Saturday, the two were spotted on a date, at The Art of Elysium HEAVEN Gala in Los Angeles.

Though the pair avoided the spotlight for much of the evening – Depp arrived through the back door and Heard avoided interviews, begging off with what she said was a cold – the two were seen getting cozy at a table directly in front of the stage.

Heard, 27, wore a vintage black gown, and Depp, 50, wore his favorite tattered fedora and glasses. The two spent their time leaning in and whispering to each other all night, with Depp draping his arm around Heard’s chair.

They stayed for the entire event, eventually leading a standing ovation after Evan Rachel Wood’s performance – she sang covers of Radiohead’s “High and Dry” and 4 Non Blondes’ “What’s Up?”
