Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr to Duet on Grammy Awards Show

The surviving members of the Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, will reunite for a performance at this year’s Grammy Awards, where Starr also will receive the 2014 Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award.

The rock legends – the Beatles broke up in 1970 – are set to join others in this year’s Grammy line-up, including Carole King and Sara Bareilles, John Legend, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, as well as Keith Urban, Taylor Swift and Kacey Musgraves, Rolling Stone reports.

McCartney is also a nominee for several Grammy Awards this year, including Best Rock Song, “Cut Me Some Slack,” along with the Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic from Nirvana.

Other performers on the Grammy bill include Metallica, Katy Perry, Robin Thicke, Willie Nelson and Blake Shelton.

The 56th annual Grammys will air live on CBS on Jan. 26.
