3 Tips to manage Dry skin this winter

Is there anybody who doesn’t desire soft, glowing and radiant skin?  NO. Good skin not only adds to your persona, it acts as a defensive layer from the pollution, filth and germs of the outside world. Sadly not all of us are blessed with ideal skin. Some of us may have oily, combination, dry or highly sensitive skin. Every kind of skin has its own share of blessings and issues. With the forthcoming winter the woes of people having dry skin worsens. The skin appears dry because of its incapability to retain moisture and create sufficient skin oils. To add to the existing troubles, excessive wind, extreme temperatures and air-conditioning can further lead to chapping and cracking of skin. What’s worse is that if left unnoticed and neglected the chances of getting untimely lines around eyes and mouth increases.

To restore the moisture levels on the skin is the best way to reduce dryness on the skin.  Anjali Mukerjee Health Total believes that by appropriately combining good dietary routine and skin care routine the liveliness and glow of dry skin can be restored to its former glory.

Skincare-3 tips to combat dry skin:

1) Those suffering with dryness of skin should not bathe in Hot water as hot water robs the skin of essential oils. Instead opt for warm water.

2) Regularly apply baby oil or olive oil before going for your bath and follow it up cream with essential oils as it locks the moisture of your skin. Be particularly generous with areas around your eyes and mouth which are prone to fine lines.

3) Intake of powdered flaxseeds (Flaxmeal) helps reduce dryness of skin, eczema and acne.

Beauty is an often inside task. We clearly believe that health is the best base to beauty. No amount of makeup can camouflage the looks of poor health. The signs of good health can be easily recognized by everyone. A glowing skin, lustrous hair, a firm body and radiant eyes are not possible unless a person is truly healthy from within. Health influences each and every aspect of your being. It helps you better your looks, sharpen your mind, balance your emotions and deal with people in a better way. But as people age, they lose their health and this is reflected in a loss of attractiveness. However, age need not take a toll on your looks. To look your best, even as you age, you must take stock of your eating and living habits. The human body is very forgiving. If you haven’t been treating yourself well, begin today. You can regain your health and your looks by making some diet and lifestyle changes.
