Khloé Kardashian’s Home Burglarized; Kourtney Reportedly Robbed of $50,000

The San Fernando Valley home of Khloé Kardashian has been burglarized.

Investigators with the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Valley Division responded to the home, located in Tarzana, around 4 p.m. Monday and opened a criminal investigation into the theft, LAPD Officer Rosario Herrera tells PEOPLE.

“Property has gone missing and it’s a criminal investigation,” Herrera says of the home, which Khloé once shared with then-husband Lamar Odom before they split. “It’s an ongoing investigation.”

Meanwhile, TMZ reports that Kourtney Kardashian’s Calabasas home was burglarized last month and that $50,000 in cash was stolen from the property. Police are reportedly investigating a possible connection between the heists.

According to the site, Khloé and her mother, Kris Jenner, discovered the theft at Khloé’s home on Monday while cleaning out the Tarzana property for its new owner, Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco.

Khloé and Odom put the home on the market in early January, although Khloé has continued to live at the residence.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Cuoco and her husband, Ryan Sweeting, recently bought the 8,000-square-foot Tarzana home for its asking price of $5.49 million. The home features custom closets, mosaic tile details, a den, a home theater, seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.
