Whenever you see Tom Cruise in a new film, you are left wondering how he manages to look so young despite being 51-years-old. This is one of the reasons why he is so famous. It’s not just his stunts but his great shape that keeps him alive in the news. So it hardly comes as a surprise to many that majority of the directors still consider him the perfect match to fit into their film’s role.

So Tom cruise will be turning 52 in just two months. However, the physique that he demonstrates would suggest a guy half his age. So what keeps him as one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood? The man with a successful career has stated that it all comes down to hard work with a strong focus. Cruise says he trains without sleep and just goes “hard.” He says that he is always with his family despite the work.

At times, he is seen flaunting his chiseled physique in films. The actor follows a strict diet schedule accompanied by weight lifting that lasts several hours each day. Cruise is known to his colleagues for undergoing intense preparation and maintaining a strict discipline throughout his career.

Cruise is known for training pretty hard. He stated that for his film “The Last Samurai,” released in 2003, he trained each day for six hours for a period of one-year to be able to play his role. He did the same with his film “Rock of Ages.”

“You’ve got to build the body up for impact. I remember trying to put my shirt on at one point and couldn’t because my forearms had gotten so big. It was the same with “Rock of Ages”-five hours a day learning to sing, three hours a day dancing” Cruise said in an interview to a magazine.

Cruise never had an easy time growing up. By the time he was 14 years of age, he had attended 15 different schools. He suffered bullying at almost each and every school, but that did not in any way deter his spirit.

Cruise intends to continue making action films throughout his fifties and has no plans of undergoing a plastic surgery. Many actors and actresses have undergone expensive but successful surgeries that help them look much younger than their ages. Tom Cruise until now has never had a surgery performed to look younger. However, he will have to stick to his training schedule to be able to maintain his current shape.

Most of the people want to look as handsome as Cruise. The problem is that they are not willing to invest enough time into exercising. You need not invest as long as six hours daily to look younger. There are lists of exercises if properly done will indeed help you look much smarter and younger than your age.
