Crab meat stuffed shrimps is a quick and simple dish that will surely impress your guests at the next party!

  • Eggs: Two (lightly beaten)
  • Light Mayonnaise: Two tablespoon
  • Lemon Juice: One teaspoon
  • Soft breadcrumbs: Equal to a hamburger bun
  • Black pepper: Half (½) teaspoon
  • Oregano: One fourth (¼) teaspoon
  • Mrs Dash seasoning mix: Half (½) teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper: One eighth (1/8) teaspoon
  • Lump crab meat: half (½) lb
  • Large or medium shrimp: 1 lb (preferably Royal Red)
  • Parmesan cheese: Optional
Instructions
  1. At first you have to peel, remove the vein and clean the shrimp. Leave the tail intact. Now put these clean shrimps on a greased cookie sheet so that each forms a circle. Make sure that the tail is pointed up. The tail makes the dish look good and it acts as a handle as well, so fan them out.
  2. Now take the eggs, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, lemon juice, oregano, Mrs Dash seasoning mix and black pepper, and fold these ingredients into the crab meat.
  3. Now add a spoonful of this crab meat mixture that you have just made and put it on top of the shrimp circle. Like this keep adding the crab meat mixture to all the shrimp circles that you have made. If you like your appetizers hot then you must try adding the cayenne pepper to the mix.
  4. Once you are through with this, you may add Parmesan cheese on top of it, however that is optional.
  5. Once you are through with adding the crab meat on top of the shrimps its time to bake it. Put the cookie sheet into the oven and cook it at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
  6. Once it is cooked it will look crisp and golden. If you have added Parmesan cheese it will add to the taste of the stuffed shrimps.
  7. Remove the shrimps from the cookie sheet with the help of a spatula, and serve hot. If you have a party tomorrow and you want to prepare it today, you may arrange the shrimps and the crab meat on the cookie sheets, wrap them in a plastic and refrigerate it. Bake them just before the party next day, and you will have tasty crab meat stuffed shrimps for appetizers.
