The Royal Duchess Kate Middleton stunned the world with her ivory satin and lace Alexander McQueen wedding dress.  The dress was made with the most luxurious and finest fabrics like French Chantilly and English Cluny lace, ivory and white satin gazar which took months to prepare. This wedding dress with a nine foot train is reportedly to be about $400,000(£250,000).

Japanese bridal designer Yumi Katsura’s most expensive bridal dress is yet to find the bride. The expensive $8.5 million gown is made with 5 carat yellow diamond 8.8 carat emerald, 1,000 pearls and zari embroidery.

The reality star wore princess ball gown in her wedding to NBA player Kris Humpries. However, she chose to change three wedding gowns. All these wedding gowns were designed by Vera Wang which cost $25,000 each making a total of staggering $75,000.

American actress Grace Kelly became a royalty when she married Rainier III, Prince of Monaco in 1956. Her wedding dress cost $8,000 which didn’t include the designer fees. MGM costume designer Helen Rose designed her dress. At present, this fairy tale princess gown is estimated to be $68,000.
