Buying False Nails

False nails are one of the most popular beauty accessories for women. They are easy to apply, relatively inexpensive and can suit almost any occasion. With so many styles and colours available, they offer an extremely versatile way to change your look without having to spend a lot of money. They’re also great for those who bit their nails.

There are many places that you can buy false nails from both online and on the high street. Many women like to buy plain nails so that they can paint them any colour or pattern they want. As well as coming in many different colours and patterns, they also come in different sizes and lengths. Teenagers will usually have to buy smaller sizes of false nails since they haven’t finished growing yet. The lengths that are available can suit any occasion including more practical purposes such as wearing them to the office.

What’s so great about false nails is how customisable they are. You can get nails that have different shaped ends from pointy to curvy. You can also purchase nail stickers to decorate your false nails and come up with something completely unique. There’s no limit to what you can do. It’s also very inexpensive and easy to do this, especially when you compare it to getting acrylic nails done at a salon

Applying False Nails

Most false nails that come as part of a set will include everything you need to apply them including the nails themselves, nail glue and applicator. Applying them is fairly simple but it does need to be done with care to ensure that you get them placed properly and there is no glue showing through.

First you should ensure that you have a set of nails that are the right size for you. The easiest way to test this is to simply place them on your nails and see if they fit well. After this you should then place a small amount of glue on the back of the first false nail and then press it on to one of your nails and hold it in place for a few seconds. You then simply repeat this procedure until all your nails are done. If you want to shape the nails after they’re applied then you can file them. However you should be aware that this can cause damage to them if you’re not careful.
