Winter Season Can Bring Along A Lot of Problems for Your Hair

From static plagued hair strands to dull and dry locks, winter season can be quite troublesome for your hair. Hair problems such as hair breakage, split ends, parched ends and dandruff are some of the commonly known problems your hair is prone to experience. Like our body and mind, our hair also react to the change of season, hence you need to take care of your hair according to the cold season. You can visit a good hair and beauty salon to get a fix of these problems but these easy tips can make your life easy, so here is a list of all winter season related hair problems and tips to fix them-

Dandruff– Dandruff is primarily caused on dry scalp. Avoid using blower in this season as it will make your already dry scalp even more dry and uncomfortable. Hot oil therapy should be done once a week. You can walk into a hair and beauty salon for this.

Static hair- Expect your hair to become frizzy during winter. Since we wear woollen clothes, hat, your hair become frizzy. You should use vented brush to comb your hair. Do not use hot water, but lukewarm water to wash your hair. Hot water will make your hair even more dry. Do not forget to use conditioner after shampooing your hair.

 Parched strands– Parched strands is another commonly known problem that comes about in winter season. Nourish your hair mane profusely during the winter season to get rid of parched strands. You can do this by keeping your hair oiled. Do not forget to wear and shower cap to let oil get absorbed.

Hair Breakage- On the list is another commonly known winter problem- hair breakage. This happens due to excessive dryness from the roots.

Split ends– Split ends is another problem you will face during winter. Cutting off split ends is the only fix of this problem. Refrain from tying your hair with bands.

Here are some more tips that will help you combat winter related hair problems-

– Do not shampoo hair too often as it will cause your scalp to dry even more. Remove all tangles and brush your hair. Applying honey is another good natural way of nourishing your hair roots. Do not forget to put on a shower cap while doing this. Honey will make your hair look rich, healthy and shiny. Rinse it off with lukewarm water after 30 minutes.  Alternatively you can provide olive oil treatment to your hair. This will help you remove breakage, dryness from your hair.
