Barack Obama Helps Woman Who Nearly Faints During His Speech

Looks like President Obama has eyes in the back of his head.

During his Affordable Care Act speech Monday at the White House about problems people are encountering when attempting to enroll in coverage at Healthcare.gov, a pregnant woman standing behind him began to sway and black out.

Obama turned to catch her, saying, “I got you. You’re okay.” Bringing some levity to the situation, he quips: “That’s what happens when I talk too long.”

The White House description of people who stood with POTUS, includes the now-famous Karmel Allison, who is a “prospective ACA beneficiary.”

Allison was “diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was 9 years old,” a White House description read. “She has stayed on the same insurance ever since, despite constantly rising costs, for fear she would not be able to find a plan that would cover her due to her pre-existing condition.
