Kim Kardashian’s See-Through White Dress Is Just the Latest This Week. Is She Sending Us a Message?

So, think Kim Kardashian is excited to be a bride again? Since the news of her engagement to Kanye West went (very) public, the star has been sticking to one color scheme. You guessed it: bridal white.

And while the pure hue may connote innocence and light, her dress selection paints a much more va-va-voom picture. For a Wednesday night appearance on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Kardashian made sure that her giant rock wouldn’t be the only thing on people’s minds, wearing a completely sheer lace appliqué dress (center) over a black bra and briefs. (Think she wants you to know she’s got her bikini body back? Nah, she wouldn’t be so transparent.) Black sandals and sideswept waves finished the look.

And that makes the third white dress in six days for the newly engaged bombshell. For her 33rd birthday party at Tao Saturday (right), Kim brought the ka-POW in a white lace bustier dress with sheer panels that needs to be seen from all sides to be fully appreciated.

And two days earlier (left), she picked a curve-hugging white turtleneck dress that flashed a strip of skin at her abs.

This isn’t the first time she’s relied heavily on the “ivory, cream, eggshell and beige” section of her closet to celebrate her excitement at tying the knot — her first party dress post-engagement to Kris Humphries was notably bridal. And now we’re thinking, if she’s got so many white dresses on hand, maybe we don’t need to do wedding dress predictions at all. Any of the above would look great in a fighter jet.
