Kate’s First Mother’s Day: Royal Lookalikes Crash Another Family Occasion

The family milestones keep coming for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. And on each occasion we’ve come to enjoy a side spectacle – photographer Alison Jackson’s hilarious staged scenes starring royal lookalikes.

The latest reason for celebration is Kate’s first Mother’s Day, coming up this Sunday. (The U.K. celebrates the holiday earlier than the U.S., where it’s the second Sunday in May.)

Jackson’s latest snapshots show proud Mom enjoying her day with husband William and baby George, accepting gifts from her other relatives – and of course, taking selfies.

The scenes are amusingly goofy in their ordinariness, in the same style as previous entries in the series, from Kate’s baby shower to George’s first Christmas.

Next up: Will it be Easter (April 20) or Father’s Day (June 15)?
