Spinach Saute
- 2 to 3 bunches of fresh spinach
- 4 to 5 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp sugar
- 4 hard-boiled eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Boil a few eggs in a pot. Add some salt to the boiling water to help remove the egg shells easily from the eggs.
- Wash the spinach well. I like to remove the stems when I cook spinach but leave them on when eating them raw.
- In a sauté pan add the butter and garlic and mix together.
- Add in the fresh spinach leaves and stir into the butter garlic sauce. Sometimes I even use the garlic butter sauce that comes in the pizza box for my spinach.
- Add in about a tsp of sugar. Salt and pepper the spinach to your liking.
- Cook the spinach until wilted about 5 minutes but it depends on how cooked you like your spinach.
- Once the boiled eggs are ready run cold water over them to cool them.
- Remove the shells and slice one egg on top of your serving of spinach.
- Save the rest of the eggs for when you want to eat another serving.
