Garlic Chicken Alfredo Sauce

Author:
Ingredients
  • 2 cups of half and half
  • 3-4 cloves of fresh garlic chopped
  • ½ cup of Romano cheese
  • ½ cup of Asiago
  • (You can substitute Parmesan-Reggiano or any of your favorite Italian cheeses)
  • 1 teaspoon salt,
  • 1 teaspoon oregano,
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • A dash of nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • Pepper and salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
  1. Chop your chicken into bite size pieces and gently sauté in olive oil until lightly brown and remove from the heat
  2. Start sauteing the chopped garlic in a tablespoon of olive oil until lightly brown. Be careful not to burn your garlic, it will make your entire Alfredo sauce bitter. Add all the other ingredients except the cheese.
  3. Heat the creamy mixture to a boil and then let simmer until it thickens. Add your cooked chicken to your mixture and stir until warmed. The last thing you do is add all of the cheese and then top on your pizza or fettuccine noodles.
