Avocado Shrimp Scampi

  • Hair pasta (1 package or 16 ounces)
  • Butter (1/2 cup)
  • Garlic (4 minced cloves)
  • Onion (1/2 cup, minced)
  • Fresh Parsley (1 Tablespoon)
  • Salt (1 tablespoon)
  • Black Pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Worcestershire sauce (1 dash)
  • Lemon Juice (1/4 cup)
  • White wine (1 teaspoon)
  • Shrimp (1 pound, peeled and deveined)
  • Asiago cheese (diced)
  • Avocado (1 peeled, pitted and diced)
Instructions
  1. first you have to use a large pot of salt water (little salt) and boil it over high heat, this is where you will cook the pasta until it reaches the right point (al dente), then drain it properly. Next step it's to melt the butter, this will have to be done in a large skillet at medium heat; you will have to stir almost all the ingredients (garlic, onion, parsley, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and white wine) until they reach boiling point and then heat them to medium high and add the shrimp, keep stirring until the shrimp turn pink, this will happen in about 5 minutes. Finally serve the scampi over the pasta and sprinkle all with the diced Asiago cheese and the avocado to serve a final, delicious dish.
