David Beckham Launches Swimwear Line for H&M (aka an Excuse to Look at David Beckham in Tiny Pants)

You’ve got to hand it to David Beckham: He gives the people what they want. His ads for his H&M bodywear collection showcase the merchandise. And by merchandise, we mean … Well, see the ads here, here, here and here, and draw your own conclusions.

And he’s keeping the magic going with his latest collection for H&M, a swimwear line. Starting in May, you can buy a pair of Beckham’s board shorts, swimshorts and trunks (board shorts not pictured, because they’re fuller coverage, obviously) and then magically watch your man transform into David Beckham right before your eyes. We’re pretty sure. It didn’t say anything about that in the press release, but we have to assume.

“The success of my Bodywear collection at H&M has been fantastic, so I’m thrilled to be introducing these great swimwear pieces ready for the summer,” Beckham says in that press release. “We’ve worked hard to create new classics for men, with great fit, comfort and also style.” Glen Luchford shot the beautifully lit and pensive photos of Beckham displaying the merchandise, and again, whatever that means to you is fine.
