Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt vs. George Clooney & Amal Alamuddin – Who Will Wed First?

It’s an A-list race to the altar!

Angelina Jolie and George Clooney are star pals, and both are happily engaged.

But as for who will make it down the aisle first, it sounds like a case of the tortoise and the hare.

While wowing on the carpet at Thursday’s Hollywood premiere of her new Disney film Maleficent”, Jolie, 38, who was accompanied by fiancé Brad Pitt, 50, and their children, made a telling prediction.

Asked by ET whether she or Clooney, who recently proposed to London lawyer Amal Alamuddin, would get hitched first, she replied, “Probably George.”

It might seem Jolie and Pitt, who have been together since 2005 (and confirmed their engagement April of 2012), would have taken the plunge first, but bachelor-no-more Clooney, 53, and his fiancée, 36, are said to already have plans in the works for nuptials this September.

But that’s not to say the Jolie-Pitt children aren’t in full planning mode.

“They’ve got a lot of crazy ideas,” Jolie said of how their kids suggested a cruise wedding ,among other fun iterations. “They’ll be the ones deciding when it comes and how it’s done, I’m sure.”

And, who knows – perhaps the Jolie-Pitts could eke out that win, after all.
