How Can I Remove Stretch Marks?

Stretch marks are beyond annoying. They are sometimes red, silver, indented, highly visible, or even wrinkled looking. If you have stretch marks on a part of your body that is often uncovered, they can be very embarrassing. Common places for stretch marks include the breast, thighs, backside, and of course, the tummy.

Stretch marks are caused when the skin is forced to expand too quickly, for example if you gain too much weight too quickly, or when your stomach grows during pregnancy. These changes are unexpected by the body and result in skin that is unprepared and not ready to be stretched. The result is a stretch mark, and usually these are permanent.

Stretch marks do fade over time, but sometimes they never go away completely. In rare cases, stretch marks never fade, or they become indented and never smoothen out again. If you have stretch marks, you might feel like you will have them forever.

Most likely, you will have your stretch marks forever. Unless you do something to treat them. Left alone, they will stay with you your entire life, but if you give them some individual attention you can dramatically reduce their appearance and even eliminate them completely.

The first thing you want to do is stay hydrated. Water will help to renew and rejuvenate the skin. Sound crazy? If you are the type of person who rarely drinks water, you can bet that your stretch marks will most likely never heal. Drink lots of water, and it will help over time.

Secondly, use a skin care product that nourishes the skin and treats stretch marks. These kinds of creams can be expensive, so make sure that you do your research and spend your money on a quality product, and not something that will not work. Some products just flat out won’t work, so look up the ingredients and make sure that the cream you are using includes vitamin E and caffine. These are just 2 of the many special ingredients that help to fight annying stretch marks.

Other than that, don’t worry so much! Stretch marks are not actually that bad. Don’t fret, because most people will not notice. Good luck!
